Polymer-modified edge sealing compounds for traffic surfaces
The edge zones of asphalt and concrete pavements are subject to particularly high stresses. In addition to climatic influences, traffic loads, water, de-icing salts and mechanical forces act on edge and joint areas. Insufficiently sealed edges can lead to moisture ingress, material deterioration and premature damage to the pavement structure.
GusjoinT® develops and supplies polymer-modified, bitumen-based edge sealing compounds specifically designed and approved for the long-term sealing of pavement edges, joints and transitions in traffic surface construction.

GusjoinT® Products for Edge Sealing
Sprayable, polymer-modified edge sealing compound
Polymer-modified, bitumen-based hot-applied compound for sealing the edges of asphalt pavements. The material is sprayable and can be applied without primer. It is characterized by very high adhesion strength and ensures a durable, age-resistant sealing of edge flanks.
Application:
Edge sealing of asphalt pavements as well as execution of transverse joints during construction interruptions in new construction and maintenance works.

Sprayable, polymer-modified edge sealing compound
Polymer-modified, bitumen-based hot-applied compound for edge sealing with higher penetration. The material is designed for edge and joint areas where increased adaptability is required. It can be applied without primer and offers high adhesion strength and long-term resistance to weathering.
Application:
Edge and joint sealing of asphalt pavements, particularly under changing climatic conditions and increased stress.

Packaging and On-Site Practice
GusjoinT® edge sealing compounds are supplied in siliconised, anti-adhesive cardboard packaging.
The packaging allows fast and clean material removal directly on site.
