GusjoinT-Backer Rod is a closed-cell polyethylene backer rod designed to ensure the correct joint geometry and provide the ideal foundation for durable joint sealing. It is used as a backing material in concrete, asphalt and rail joints to control sealant depth and reliably prevent three-sided adhesion. Thanks to its excellent flexibility, heat resistance and rot-proof properties, GusjoinT-Backer Rod is compatible with all common hot- and cold-applied joint sealants and delivers consistent performance under demanding service conditions.​
